Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC)

ATEC's state of the art Tourism Training Hub launched at Meeting Place - TravelDailyNews Asia & PacificATEC is the peak industry association for the Australian inbound tourism industry sector.  

TGA’s membership allows for up to two complimentary or discounted registrations to e-courses on the Tourism Training Hub.

World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA)

The global ‘umbrella’ organisation for associations like TGA.  WFTGA’s main purpose is to promote, market and ensure that tour guides are recognised as the ambassadors of a region.  

A key benefit for individual tour guides is the Cultour Card which, when used in conjunction with your TGA Professional or Registered Member card, entitles you to free or discounted entry in participating museums and attractions around the world.  

Hot tip – slide your Cultour Card into the reverse of your TGA membership card so it is always available and pack it in your luggage when travelling.
